Our head office in Beijing is lead by Campbell Thompson, and our Shanghai office by Michael Lee. Campbell was born and raised in South Australia’s wine country, and has lived and worked in Beijing for 10 years. He was the General Manager of the Australian Chamber in Beijing for 3 ½ years, and was the Marketing Director for China’s largest wine importer for more than 4 years before leaving to launch The Wine Republic.

A native of Perth, Michael Lee has more than 10 years’ experience in the wine trade in Australia in a range of sales, marketing and management roles. He has been based in Shanghai for one year, where he has quickly gained a reputation for high quality wine education and training. One of our senior staff have Masters degrees in Oenology (winemaking) – Ms Shi Ying from the University of Adelaide.
